PRODUCT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

 LOCATION:

Virtual + once monthly visits to the Sweet Wink warehouse in Island Park, NY

JOB TYPE:

Part-time, Hourly Rate

Approximate hours are 9:00AM-2:30PM EST, Monday through Friday

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Order Processing:

    • Enter direct wholesale orders and sample orders into Tradegecko, our sales and inventory management system 
    • Ensure sales order syncing into Tradegecko from Shopify Wholesale website, Shopify Retail website and other linked partners are tagged correctly
    • Process wholesale orders by checking the order ship date, inventory availability, shipping rate, and charging customer credit cards  
    • Communicate with warehouse if inventory is showing unavailable in Tradegecko and/or if a credit card fails
    • Manage customer service requests that relate to sales orders, make any necessary changes and process any necessary refunds

    Product & Asset Management:

    • Create new product listings in Tradegecko by entering the style number, pricing, size, product tags, bundling components and writing compelling product descriptions
    • Assist with wholesale collection launches and retail collection launches by publishing products from Tradegecko to Shopify
    • Merchandise new collections in Shopify by tagging products, adding lifestyle images to product listings, adding recommended products to increase average order size, and updating the homepage banner, announcement bar, trending items, and featured collections 
    • Manage and maintain the Sweet Wink Photo Album by adding new product and lifestyle photos from influencers and photographers as well as removing old styles after a collection cut off

    Influencer Marketing:

    • Assist with managing Sweet Wink’s influencer program, the Sweet Wink Style Squad, by creating, distributing, and tracking “request forms” for free product gifting 
    • Create a “collection launch timeline” to ensure free product for each new collection is being sent on time
    • Track if influencers are submitting content on time and posting on time

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong organizational skills, diligence, and a close attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of retail math including inventory on hand vs. committed inventory vs. available inventory
  • Efficient computer skills and ability to learn new softwares including Tradegecko, Shopify, and ShipStation
  • Associate Degree in Business, Fashion or a related field preferred
  • A positive, can-do attitude!
