ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Production Coordinator you’ll play a crucial role in our business by being responsible for all production tasks including communicating with overseas factories, monitoring production timelines, coordinating sample logistics, and maintaining technical records. This is a full-time salaried position with remote flexibility including periodic travel to Sweet Wink headquarters on Long Island, NY. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Production Coordination:

  • Create and manage production schedules and timelines by analyzing collection launch dates, key account ship dates, and trade show event dates
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch, including setting timelines, milestones, and more
  • Closely monitor the sample development and production process and ensure schedule adherence from development through delivery
  • Communicate daily with overseas manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of samples and finished products and address any issues that arise
  • Assist with the development and enforcement of approval processes using an excel based tracking system or project management software

Team Collaboration:

  • Work directly with the design team on all open product development projects, including all tasks required to bring the product to market
  • Prepare sampling allocation reports to ensure cross-functional alignment between the design, merchandising, and fulfillment leads
  • Assist with inventory planning and communicate with logistics to manage incoming shipments
  • Support sourcing initiatives for trims, fabrics, and new factory partnerships
  • Prepare weekly reports to keep the design team + CEO well informed of the status of all upcoming collections

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or a related field preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in apparel production, preferably in children’s wear.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing timelines, and quality control standards.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
  • Ability to simplify design feedback clearly and effectively when communicating with factories that speak English as a second language
